- Solicit subcontractor bids
- Perform quantity takeoffs
- Administer subcontracts
- Produce and manage the submittals process
- Track change orders
- Manage procurement log
- Work on close out packages
- Assist with schedule management
- Learn about and support the building permit process
- Produce meeting minutes
- Review RFI’s
- Assist with maintaining project document files and logs
- Assist with maintaining a current set of drawings
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Education
- College degree in progress in construction management, architecture, engineering, and/or other technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to read plans and specs
- Effective written and communication skills
- Self-starter, curious mind, hungry to learn
- Working knowledge of company software programs, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Procore a plus.
- Ability to independently organize work assignments and meet critical deadlines.
