Senior Project Engineer - Highway Construction

TIELLO has partnered with a highly successful Specialty Contractor in the East Bay Area of San Francisco on their search for a Senior Project Engineer to work on Heavy Civil, Highway, Grading & Paving, and Underground Utility Construction projects.

Job Title: Senior Project Engineer -Heavy Civil, Highway, Grading & Paving, and Underground Utility (2+ years of experience)

Project Types:Heavy Civil, Highway, Grading & Paving, and Underground Utility

Key Responsibilities:

• Able to perform all essential Project Engineer job responsibilities
• Experience and comfort performing Project Engineer’s responsibilities
• Assist in estimating and establishing budgets and contract price
• Assist in cost-effective subcontract and material purchases
• Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery
• Assist Project Manager in maintaining the project schedule and budget
• Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable
• Work with Superintendents to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
• Manage project deliverables

Skills & Qualification:

• 2+ years as Project Engineer projects for a reputable Heavy Civil Contractor
• Heavy Civil, Highway, Grading & Paving, and Underground Utility Project Experience
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn, grow, and develop, with a team that wants to promote your success

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
