Project Engineer

Rick Slater Construction is looking for a Project Engineer to assist with day-to-day operations managing multiple commercial and public works projects from pre-construction through closeout.

You will be integral in supporting the project management team and our field personnel ranging from 30-60 carpenters as well as communicating with our clients. This is a tight-knit office; roles are fluid and daily responsibilities can vary.

• Submittal Process
• Material & Equipment Procurement
• Change Order Management (and follow up)
• Project Management Systems Activity (Procore)
• Project Support Communication & Coordination

Essential Skills

• Strong communication skills are a must
• Proficient in Procore, Excel, QuickBooks, Clearstory and estimating programs such as PlanSwift
• Basic knowledge of construction administration processes such as submittals, RFI, change orders and purchase orders

Preferred candidates are working toward or have earned a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
