Job Overview:
As a Construction Project Engineer at RBA Builders, you will play a vital role in coordinating and managing various aspects of Construction Projects. You will work closely with the project management team to ensure the successful execution of projects to meet budget, safety, quality, and safety requirements.
You will assist the Project Manager and Superintendent to complete all project deliverables required for successful project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all submittals and procurement for timely approvals and product deliveries
- Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to keep all parties informed in a timely manner of project updates and changes
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget utilizing Procore and other management systems as required by the project Owner/Architect
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accuracy. Initiate change order processes as necessary when discrepancies are found.
- Assist and manage the quality control of installations prior to start of work and during the course of construction
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records.
- Contribute to project meetings and manage all meeting minutes inclusive of logs necessary
- All other duties as assigned for project successful completion.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Demonstratable technical skills in plan reading, scope assessment, and use of construction related software can be considered in lieu of a formal college degree.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction Project management or related engineering field.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Procore project management software
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
- Proficient in the Windows software environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Proficient in Bluebeam; advanced ability is preferable

Certifications:
- Procore Project Management Certified preferred
- LEED Green Associate or Accredited Processional preferred
- OSHA 10 or 30; OSHA 30 preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Previous experience in managing mid-sized commercial Construction Projects.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.

Working Conditions:
- This role involves both office and site locations.
- Physical demands include walking, standing, and occasional lifting.
- The position requires visits to construction sites, including wearing appropriate safety PPE.
