Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage construction projects from start to finish (from small renovations to large scale residential projects)
- Oversee all aspects of project management, including: planning, scheduling, budgeting, contract negotiations, oversight, financial tracking/payments, delivery, punch-lists, and job completion.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Prepare and negotiate contracts with contractors and vendors
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control, budget control, and schedule control.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, all while representing Owner’s best interest and keeping Owner informed at all times
- Meetings with Owner, as required, to provide updates, approvals, and continuously maintain open communication on jobs
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management within the construction industry (preferably high net worth residential)
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, scheduling, and coordination
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate at all levels
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to problem solve
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Organized, detail oriented, and solely responsible for the handling of documentation, project files, and household information
Note: This position requires a combination of leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple high level projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in construction project management and/or Owner’s representation.
