Construction Inspector (New Jersey)

Job Description:
A geotechnical construction and engineering company is looking for Construction Inspectors for private sector development to test and inspect various components of foundations. These include bolding, steel, concrete, soil compaction, earthwork, masonry and other components of foundational construction.
Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
** Two years of experience performing geotechnical construction inspection work, internships count toward this experience, required
** Capable of using Microsoft Office
** Valid drivers license required
Preferred:
**NJ DCA (Dept of Consumer Affairs) cert highly preferred
** Nuclear Density Gauge Operator cert preferred-- Troxler certification
** ACI certification required for concrete testing preferred
** ICC certifications preferred-- concrete placement, structural masonry, and reinforced concrete
** Bachelors degree preferred -- civil engineering, geology or similar (preferred but not required)Education: BachelorEmployment Type: FULL_TIME
