As a Field Roof Inspector at Herts Roofing & Construction, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the condition of the roof and the safety. You will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections, assessing roofing conditions, and providing detailed reports to support our commitment to excellence in roofing construction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. On-Site Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of roofing projects at various stages, including pre-installation, during construction, and post-installation.

2. Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspections, including photographs, measurements, and notes. Prepare comprehensive reports highlighting findings and recommendations.

3. Client Communication: Effectively communicate inspection results to project managers, contractors, and clients. Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

4. Problem Resolution: Collaborate with construction teams to address and resolve any identified issues or deviations from specifications.

5. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and changes in building codes to contribute to continuous improvement in roofing processes.

6. Steep Roof: Ability to climb high and steep-pitch roof inspections to ensure a thorough and complete inspection on every job.

7. Transportation: We will provide vehicle ( extra incentive if you operate your own reliable truck with ladder rack)

Other Requirements:

• Clean, reliable truck, van, or SUV
• 32-foot ladder
• Operational laptop and smartphone
• Professional appearance
• Roofing boots
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications:

1. Education: A High School Diploma, or a related field is preferred.

2. Experience: Proven experience in roofing inspections or a related field. Familiarity with various roofing materials and construction techniques.

3. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues or deviations from specifications.

4. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey inspection results and collaborate with project teams.

5. Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze problems and recommend effective solutions.

6. Time Management: Efficiently manage time to conduct inspections within specified timelines.
