Job Description
We are currently seeking a diligent and experienced Construction Inspector to join our team. As a Construction Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that construction aviation projects adhere to all relevant regulations, standards, and specifications. You will conduct thorough inspections of construction sites, materials, and workmanship to verify compliance with approved plans and applicable codes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- 30 - Hour OSHA training prior to assignment. The 30 - Hour training will have been received within the last 4 years.
- Proven experience as a Construction Inspector, preferably in airport construction or utilities projects.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct inspections of airport improvement and utilities projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, contracts, permits, and environmental documents.
- Document daily progress of construction work and prepare monthly progress payment requests.
- Track changes to project scope, schedules, and budgets, and verify time and material work.
- Measure and document job quantities, ensuring accurate reporting and invoicing.
- Utilize computer literacy skills for documentation and information retrieval purposes.
- Set priorities and make decisions effectively, working with minimal supervision to achieve project objectives.
- Interact tactfully and effectively with stakeholders, including airport representatives, contractors, construction workers, and the public.
- Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, representing the company and project stakeholders with integrity.
