Construction Estimator/Inside Sales

CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR / INSIDE SALES – EAST PEORIA, ILLINOIS

LS Building Products is a private, locally owned company, with distribution locations throughout the Greater Central Illinois Region. Our goal at LS Building Products is to be the premier distributor of building materials in our markets, and to provide superior customer service and professional support to those we serve. Our inside sales team is an integral part of identifying and bringing on new customers and providing superior service to our existing customers.

JOB DUTIES:

• Greet and assist customers at the counter
• Utilize Plan Swift to perform take-offs, create, and enter quotes/orders for outside salesmen
• Answer incoming phone calls, route to appropriate personnel, or assist customers as needed
• Schedule deliveries
• Assist Purchasing Manager with purchasing as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Communication skills – verbal and written
• Able to work as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task
• Experience with PlanSwift (Preferred)
• Sales Experience: 1+ year(s) (Preferred)
• Customer Service Experience: 1+ year(s) (Preferred)

JOB TYPE: Full-time

RATE OF PAY: From $19 - $22 an hr. w/ commission potential

EDUCATION: High school or equivalent
