Job Description
The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for working under the direction of the Superintendent to manage home building schedules, trade partner coordination, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Compensation:$55,000 annually
Responsibilities:- Manage home construction and conduct daily walks of all homes (every house, every room, every day).
- Manage daily construction schedule.
- Communicate with trade partners
- Meet with City Inspectors.
- Manage construction quality and perform quality control inspections.
- Prepare homes for New Home Orientation.
- Participate in Buyer Touch Point Meetings with Superintendent.
- Assist Warranty Representatives as needed.
- Maintain community safety and cleanliness.
- Manage job cleanliness.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in residential and/or commercial construction required
- Computer skills preferred (Microsoft Office, Scheduling)
- Must possess excellent communication, planning and organizational skills.
- Must be able to clearly explain and resolve issues on the job site to trade partners, suppliers, inspectors, other project managers, and supervisors.
- Must have a strong work ethic.
