T-Rex Solutions is seeking a qualified Configuration Manager to support of a secure customer located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah (HAFB). T-Rex seeks an Analyst with experience in Records Management, Logistics, and supporting a Configuration and Property Management (CPM) Administrator. This role plays a crucial role in ensuring effective organization and control of documentation, hardware/software inventory, and configuration baselines. The overall program that this role supports aims to modernize legacy USAF network infrastructure and migrate services into a new AWS Cloud Environment. For any candidates not already local to the Ogden, UT area, T-Rex is offering a relocation support package to assist with moving costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Records Management:
    • Develop and implement records management policies and procedures.
    • Organize and maintain documentation repositories, ensuring version control and accessibility.
    • Facilitate the creation, review, and approval of documents to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Logistics:
    • Manage hardware and software inventory, tracking assets throughout their lifecycle.
    • Establish and maintain baselines for configuration items, documenting changes and updates.
    • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of necessary resources.
  • CPM Administrator Support:
    • Assist the CPM Administrator in configuration management tasks.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze configuration requirements.
    • Support configuration audits and ensure adherence to configuration management processes.
  • Documentation Analysis:
    • Review and analyze documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards.
    • Identify areas for improvement in document management processes and propose solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure alignment with configuration and document management goals.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay informed about industry best practices in configuration and document management.
    • Propose and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in managing records and configurations.
    • Provide training to team members on document management and configuration processes.
    • Offer support to users encountering issues related to document management or configuration tasks.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
    • Support audits and assessments related to document management and configuration practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or IT related field with two (2) or more years of related professional experience. A Master's Degree and 0+ years of experience or a PhD and 0+ years of experience may be substituted.
  • Must possess an Interim or Active Secret Clearance
  • possess strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of configuration and document management principles.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills are required for interfacing with diverse teams and stakeholders

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $93,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
