Job Summary
Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Section Manager for the Configuration, Data, and Software Configuration Management team in Aurora, CO.
The Section Manager serves as the direct line manager of Configuration Analysts, Data Analysts, and Software Configuration Managers. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires the candidate to be directly involved in the CM, DM, and SWCM activities performed for the programs within the assigned mission area. Responsibilities include management, training, mentoring, staffing and professional development of employees in the Configuration, Data, and Software Configuration Management roles supporting selected programs.
The candidate will provide Configuration Management/Data Management/Software Configuration Management (CM/DM/SWCM) related technical judgment and leadership, be highly proactive, and be experienced in processes across the business areas supported by the CM/DM Department.
This is an onsite role.
Responsibilities to Anticipate
Managing employees who perform all aspects of configuration, data, and software configuration management including: development of Configuration Management planning, establishment of program Engineering Review and Configuration Control Boards (ERBs/CCBs)
Deployment and maintenance of the Work Product Management System and other activities related to the identification, control, and status accounting of systems, software, and/or equipment in accordance with contractual requirements
Interface with internal and external customers, coordinating process and product reviews, establishment and maintenance of product baselines, and the review and release of engineering work products
Review current and future staffing and training requirements to ensure that a plan is in place to meet all program needs
Support proposals, EACs and Gate Reviews
Basic Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of ten (10) years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
Minimum of 8 years of Engineering or related experience to include Configuration, Data, and Software Configuration Management experience in a DoD environment
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
PTC Windchill Experience
Minimum of three (3) years of experience with an infrastructure as code or software version control repository such as BitBucket, GIT, IBM Rational ClearCase or Rational Team Concert, or Subversion
Minimum of three (3) years of automation experience shell scripting in LINUX, Unix, or Windows
Minimum of six (6) years of experience in software development, software configuration management, or systems administration
Familiarization with Raytheon policies and processes

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
