Job Description
We are seeking a full time Concrete Construction Manager to join our team! You will be overseeing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, material orders, and implementation of ongoing and future projects.
Responsibilities:
• Review any new contracts and red-line any provisions and verbiage that may not be included in the overall estimate previously provided to the client
• Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Create and submit RFI logs to clients
• Provide and submit company safety program to client
• Provide all submittals required for each project as needed
• Create RFI logs and distribute responded RFI’s to crew leaders
• Create and submit Change Order Requests
• Able to submit monthly pay applications with schedules of values
Qualifications
• Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail- oriented
• Microsoft Excel and Word proficient
• Must be proficient in drop box, textura, procore and other similar construction management programs that may be used by the clients
