We are currently hiring Full-time, Unarmed Security Officers (USO) in the Washington, DC area.

Part-Time Opening: must be willing to work various shifts.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Valentis Concierge is responsible for:

• Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments.
• Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
• Schedule appointments and maintain and update appointment Schedule and Visitor Logs.
• Transmit information or documents to customers, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
• Hear and resolve complaints from the public.
• File and maintain records.
• Provide information about establishment, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.
• Collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail, messages, or courier deliveries.
• Analyze data to determine answers to questions from visitors or members of the public.
• Keep a current record of staff members, clients and residents' whereabouts and availability.
• Schedule space or equipment for special programs and prepare lists of participants.
• Take orders for supplies or materials and send them to the proper departments to be distributed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum educational level of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of three (2) or more years of customer service work experience is desired.
• Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple assignments, and write effective, concise, and legible reports.
