Job Summary
Assist owners and guests by providing information, securing reservations, and creating and planning itineraries in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner that maintains high standards of service and hospitality.
Essential Functions
Leadership
- Promote a positive work environment.
- Possess a positive attitude and be willing to work as part of a team.
Guest Services
- Answer phone and email inquiries in a timely and respectful manner.
- Greet guests and visitors warmly and make them feel welcome and attended to.
- Offer restaurant and activity recommendations and assist in arranging transportation and excursions.
- Act as a liaison between owners and any necessary department.
- Anticipate owners needs in order to accommodate them and provide an exceptional guest experience.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Operates front-office equipment including the telephone, printer, and computer systems.
- Uses proper telephone etiquette.
- Knows of daily activities and meetings taking place in the club.
- Reports unusual occurrences or requests to the Reception Manager.
- Able to operate multiple computer reservations systems.
- Knowledge of procedures for making reservations and secure credit card handling policies.
- Exemplify strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Other Functions
- Uses suggestive selling techniques to promote other services of the club.
- Familiar with all safety and emergency procedures and accident prevention policies.
- Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Reception Manager.
- Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front-desk, concierge, and lobby areas.
- Knowledge of Front Desk operations.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma, GED equivalent or higher preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Occasional bending, stooping, lifting and pulling.
- Frequent sitting for long periods, walking and standing.
- Continuous repetitive actions.
- Must be able to see the computer screen, paperwork, etc.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
