Job Description
We are seeking a TS/SCI cleared Computer System Engineer, located onsite in Tampa, FL to be responsible for maintaining mission essential systems while providing direct support to end users in an operational environment to administer, develop, test, and demonstrate remote Cloud based DEVSECOPS delivered applications via Helm Charts.
Responsibilities Include:
Be proficient supporting a distributed LINUX server and Database environment - Virtual.
- Problem solving complex IT topics and take initiative to recommend and implement solutions.
- Positive attitude and user support oriented, willingness to teach and advise on technical and functional issues.
- Be required to meet short notice for operational requirements.
- Perform some database functions across one or more remote servers, maintaining databases, backup/recovery, and DoD configuration management.
- Deliver to Kubernetes as new applications code is delivered and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
- Experience with the Amazon Web Service (AWS) to run command line scripts to maintain relational database services (RDS, Aurora) is highly desirable.
- 2+ years' experience with AWS Cloud server techniques including templates, kick starting, and configuration management systems, etc.
- Must have a Security+ certification within 90 days.
- 2+ years of experience with System Administration with Windows, IIS, and Linux maintenance of remote servers.
- 2+ years' experience with SQL Server database management (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc)
- 2+ years working with and understanding security concepts, including but not limited to firewalls, encryption, identity management, and hardening.

- Interact and collaborate with warfighters on a daily basis.
- Collect customer requirements and train users.
- Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders.
- Willingness to work occasional long hour days and weekends when necessary.
- Desire to learn new technologies to share and build knowledge with the teams.
- BS in Computer Science or related field.
- Some Database experience or other IT related field

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:
California: $105,200 - $196,500
Colorado: $105,200 - $169,700
New York: $97,300 - $196,500
Washington: $112,100 - $180,700
