Practice Details
Since 1953, the physicians and staff of the Northeast Georgia Diagnostic Clinic have been dedicated to providing compassionate, innovative, high quality healthcare to the adult population of Gainesville and the surrounding communities of the Northeast Georgia region.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall coordination, control and support of enterprise wide applications including but is not limited to the evaluation, implementation and training of new products or services, comprehensive systems analysis and progressive support methodologies for all assigned applications and all applications supported within the Information Technology department.
  1. Provides system operational support, administration, problem resolution, and performs system integrity.
  2. Integrates, validates, tests, and confirms operational functionality for healthcare related systems.
  3. Responds to end user requests regarding software or hardware device issues.
  4. Tracks and documents issues, problems, solutions and trends.
  5. Act as a liaison with vendors and assist in the maintenance, testing and improvement of system workflow design.
  6. Coordinates training and assist physicians and staff in system applications and processes.
  7. Organizes and develops training procedure manuals and/or course materials.
  8. Monitors, evaluates and records training activities and program effectiveness.
  9. Researches available system upgrades and implement new features to enhance use of the application.

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Administration or other related field OR or minimum 6 years relevant experience in physician office or hospital setting.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry, including clinical operations.

Work Hours:
8am-5pm
