- 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Key job responsibilities
- Monitoring product regulatory developments in the US and Canada
- Partnering with regulators and responding to their inquiries about products sold in Amazon's online store

As a Compliance Specialist on the RISC Legal team, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and implementing product regulatory compliance controls that impact the products sold in Amazon's online stores in the US and Canada. It's a high judgment position that requires nimbleness and insistence upon very high standards. You will engage with several internal and external stakeholders to drive initiatives to completion. Compliance Specialists are responsible for specific compliance categories that are either product-specific or regulation-specific (i.e., requirements that span multiple categories).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
