We are looking for a highly organized, detail oriented, straight forward, Compliance Specialist at our Corporate Office in Fresno, CA. Must have affordable housing experience in multi-family Property Management to be considered.

As our Compliance Specialist you will be responsible for monitoring an assigned portfolio of properties to ensure applicable program compliance standards are met. You will be responsible for reviewing assigned agreements, program requirements as well as having thorough knowledge and understanding of laws applying to Property Management and affordability compliance, demonstrating the ability to explain and apply them where applicable. The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of properties assigned by the Compliance Director and provide support to the site staff and Portfolio Managers.

Requirements
Job Requirements for Compliance Specialist:
- Must have at least 2+ years of current and proven experience with affordable housing programs including but not limited to: LIHTC, HUD programs (Project Based Section 8, Section 236, PRAC, 811 PRA), USDA-Rural Development (515), HCD, HOME Funds and Bonds. Property management with HUD, RD, TCAC.
- Must also have experience with rent, income and utility allowance adjustments and updates.
- Affordable Housing Accreditation (e.g.: HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) is preferred.
- Demonstrates strong proficiency in working with computers including word processing, calendar management, software/database, and social media.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Able to work at Fresno Office M-F 8am-5pm.
- Valid driver's license & active car insurance
Salary Description
20.00-23.00 per hour plus benefits
