Compliance Officer (Healthcare)
Qualifications:
- The Compliance Officer will possess at a minimum bachelor's degree and/or 2 years' experience working in a related position within the behavioral health field.
- This individual must also possess managerial skills.
- There is no history of alcohol or other drug misuse for a period of three years before employment as the Compliance Officer and does not display evidence of misuse of alcohol or other drugs while employed as the Compliance Officer.
Quality Of Work: The Compliance Officer will ensure all State and Federal Regulations, including accreditation and agency standards, are maintained at all times. The Compliance Officer has knowledge of and is culturally sensitive to employees and the problems of patients.
Quantity Of Work: The Compliance Officer is the final authority with regard to quality improvement projects, Joint Commission accreditation and CA State Licensing standard compliance. In collaboration with the CEO and Executive Team, the Compliance Officer oversees and supervises all QI, Accreditation and State Licensing activity and decision-making.
Responsibilities: The Compliance Officer reports directly to the CEO. The Compliance Officer is responsible for the development, revision and implementation of all policies and procedures. The individual is responsible for submitting protocols, protocol amendments, applications and CAP reports to the State and Joint Commission, as required. He / She will also be responsible for integrating staff services in connection with compliance initiatives. The Compliance Officer is responsible for providing training and accountability to clinical and operational staff on an ongoing basis. The Compliance Officer is responsible for maintaining compliance with all DHCS and DSS Regulations/Standards, Joint Commission Accreditation standards, and CLIA licenses including the submission of applications, renewals and corrective action plans to said agencies. The Compliance Officer is the Administrator of the company EMR/EHR and will be responsible for all documents and users within the EMR/EHR system.
Requirement: Must be able to pass Live Scan.
Compensation: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 p/yr (DOE) Exempt, Health Insurance, Paid Holidays
