Form of work The WisdomTree Compliance Team is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated summer Intern to join our team. In this role, you will support the Associate Director of Compliance Testing with ensuring overall compliance with all regulatory requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is interested in pursuing a career in compliance. The Compliance Intern will gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while contributing to the success of the company's compliance program.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assisting with conducting periodic testing of compliance policies and procedures to ensure that they are effectively designed and operating as intended.
- Performing review and potential revision of data stored in the firm's record-keeping and compliance disclosure platform.
- Reviewing existing Internal Operating Procedures (IOPs) to identify outdated procedures and work with the business owner to make sure they are updated.
- Updating employee training materials to educate employees on key policies and procedures.
- Participating in other ad hoc projects.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
$20 - $25 an hour
The salary range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as location, role, company, department, experience and individual performance.
