Job Description
The Compliance/HR Administrator is responsible for supporting all Safety/Compliance/HR-related duties. This person will have experience in working with human resources, and the safety/compliance department of a trucking company. This person will be responsible for executing daily tasks to support the Safety Director - including advertising, recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, orienting, and creating a positive business environment for the long-term retention of drivers and staff.
Responsibilities:- Implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Coordinate employee onboarding and off-boarding processes to ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures
- Monitor and audit compliance with workplace policies, such as sexual harassment, equal opportunity, and anti-discrimination policies
- Manage employee files, including confidential personnel records, in accordance with legal requirements and company policies
- Assist in performing employee background checks and other investigative tasks related to HR compliance
- This position requires great organization and communication skills - HR experience preferred
- Willing to work in a team environment
