Summary
The Compliance Analyst I position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures, including, without limitation: performing due diligence reviews; supporting the Company’s gaming and operational state and local licensing functions, gaming licensing applications, and/or gaming submissions; and assisting the Company’s compliance with Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) audit requirements. The successful candidate must have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all investigations, documents, and communications.
Essential Function and Responsibilities
- Ensure timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of each gaming application and report submitted on behalf of the Company.
- Review and monitor the submission of license applications and/or gaming submissions.
- Review correspondence from gaming regulatory agencies to determine action required and prepares necessary correspondence, documents, check requests, and other written communications.
- Preparation and submission of certain monthly and quarterly reports and deliverables based on Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) or other internal requirements as assigned.
- Attend Nevada Gaming Control Board regulatory workshops.
- Perform due diligence background reviews on vendors, consultants, lobbyists, and third-party partners, as assigned.
- Preparation and submission of regulatory applications of state and local applications for business, liquor, tavern, tobacco and gaming licensing, including state and local key employee licensing in support of licensing function.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in a compliance/investigations department, law enforcement or gaming regulatory position.
- Prior licensing experience and gaming or hospitality operations experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Must be able and willing to successfully complete Title 31 annual training.
- Previous experience working in an environment with sensitive and/or confidential information.
- Must have knowledge of state licensing and gaming regulations, relevant federal regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Microsoft Outlook
- Previous experience providing professional communication, both written and verbal, to regulatory agents in both one-on-one and small group settings.
- Previous experience with successful project management, with proven ability to complete multiple projects in a timely manner.
- Previous experience successfully working independently without assigned deadlines.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Proven ability to critically analyze and interpret information and make sound decisions and recommendations involving high-level and sensitive information.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be willing to travel, if required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
