You will assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of global compensation programs and initiatives, ensuring consistency with AMD’s compensation philosophy and alignment with overall strategic objectives. As part of a highly collaborative team, you will provide consultative support to HR team members and business leaders across the organization to ensure that our pay programs attract and retain top talent, reinforce our values and drive a high-performance culture.
You are a seasoned professional with experience supporting compensation initiatives in a global organization and are able to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways. In addition to a keen attention to detail, you have the ability to interpret complex data and draw conclusions from it. You understand the value of working in a collaborative environment in order to get to the best solution for your customers. Your ability to communicate effectively in both writing and verbally, coupled with outstanding project management skills will stand you in good stead at AMD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compensation analysis, benchmarking, data modeling, reporting, and problem-solving in support of the company’s overall corporate compensation program
- Support administration of the merit, stock and incentive planning processes, including system testing and audit reviews of employee data
- Assist in communicating programs and training employees in compensation systems and processes
- Partner with other HR professionals to develop, assess, facilitate and/or lead compensation discussions, programs and processes to support business objectives and strategy implementation
- Apply advanced knowledge of compensation strategy to address complex problems and develop solutions Participate in compensation surveys, perform survey job matching, and conduct ad-hoc benchmarking and market research as needed
- Research and analyze global market data, salary surveys, and compensation trends to drive creative programs Actively conduct complicated data analysis, interpret results, present findings and recommend changes as needed Create internal process documentation and recommend improvements to existing process and procedures
Preferred Experience:
- Progressive years of experience in a Compensation Analyst role or similar, supporting a global workforce Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of SAP
- Sales Incentive Plan Design and Knowledge
- Experience using compensation tools like PayFactors or WTW REWARD Experience using Radford salary surveys and tools
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
- Quantitative analysis skills and working knowledge of statistical analysis helpful
