What To Expect
The Marketing Manager will support the VP of Marketing & Communications to create a wide variety of deliverables across all media. This position is the go-to for marketing campaign implementation - social content, sales collateral, emails, landing pages, events, and more. This is a full-time, salaried exempt position with standard business hours of Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with some flexibility at manager’s discretion.
What You’ll Do
- Manage marketing content calendar.
- Own marketing project management.
- Own social monitoring and engagement.
- Coordinate marketing support for conferences and events.
- Conduct market research.
- Write copy for marketing materials including email, social, & sales collateral.
- Refresh and edit existing marketing collateral copy as needed.
- Manage email campaigns with Mailchimp.
- Coordinate quality assurance for marketing deliverables.
- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.
- Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to establish and improve brand guidelines.
- Contribute ideas to optimize our marketing, business development, internal comms, website design, corporate identity, advertisements, and multimedia design.
- Coordinate with outside agencies, art services, web designers, vendors, and colleagues as necessary.
What You Need
- At least 2-5 years experience in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
- Strong copywriting skills
- Strong time management skills
- Email marketing experience
- Adobe Creative Suite experience
- Ability to give and receive constructive criticism
- Insurance industry experience a plus
- SEO experience a plus
- Mailchimp and Microsoft Office experience a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro DC, Asana, Slack, or similar software.
Preferred Experience
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, business management, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience required in marketing or related function at an agency or internal marcom department
- Insurance industry experience is a plus
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus
- A combination of education and experience may be accepted

Unless fully remote, this position operates in a professional office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This is largely a sedentary role with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. However, some filing is necessary and may require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
