This role will oversee the Compensation & Benefits function for the OTB Group portfolio of brands in North America (DIESEL, Marni, Maison Margiela, Jil Sander and Staff Intl). The Compensation & Benefits Manager will also, in partnership with the Director of Total Rewards and VP of Human Resources, manage HR planning and cost control. This position will have one direct report.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Oversee day to day compensation- and benefits administration-related tasks.
  • Assess benefits programs and policies, including leave, paid time-off, workers comp, and unemployment.
  • Review plan documents and lead benefits design/renewal conversations, ensuring compliance with regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Oversee Open Enrollment end-to-end process.
  • Manage & drive the administration of OTB's annual salary review, incentive plan and MBO processes.
  • In partnership with Director, VP, and the business, design, build, implement, and manage compensation-related programs and incentive plans.
  • Support salary surveying, benchmarking, ad hoc market analysis, job leveling as needed.
  • Manage HR-relevant accruals, including bonuses. Book journal entries, as needed.
  • Plan and forecast Headcount/FTEs and full personnel costs budgets (salaries, overtime, benefits, commissions, bonuses, taxes, 401K, allowances, etc), monthly & during forecasting periods.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and year end variance analysis and commentary on personnel costs and HC/FTE.
  • Partner with Finance, Payroll & Accounting on month end closing activities, reconciling all actual costs and ensuring alignment of this data across platforms (Workforce Planning & Control module and SAP GL).
  • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reporting and analysis on headcount/FTEs and personnel costs.
  • Own relevant communications to employees, HR team, and other internal/external partners.
  • Manage related internal and external audits.
  • Identify issues and focus on continuous process improvements to ensure high level of customer service and issues resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Benefits plus experience in Compensation or Finance.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and solve problems; a natural sense of curiosity.
  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and writing.
  • Capable of managing multiple deadlines with proven organizational skills.
  • Dynamic, flexible and driven to succeed. Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated,
  • Strong team player and strong relationship builder.
  • Quick learner, ability to grasp key business drivers and communicate in a focused manner.
  • High integrity with positive customer service orientation.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel.
  • ADP, SAP GL, Success Factors, Work Force planning software experience a plus.

Salary Range: $100-120k
