PACE Supply Corp. is actively searching for a dedicated Compensation & Benefits Analyst Specialist to join our People Department in Rohnert Park, CA. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the oversight and administration of our organization's compensation and benefits programs. Your primary focus will revolve around developing and sustaining competitive compensation structures and comprehensive benefits packages aimed at attracting and retaining top-tier talent. Through meticulous market research, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our employees are fairly rewarded and have access to valuable benefits that enhance their overall well-being. Your key responsibilities encompass conducting in-depth analysis, crafting compensation structures, overseeing benefits programs, and championing data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with leadership, benefits vendors, and department managers to uphold and optimize competitive and effective compensation and benefits offerings. As the dedicated in-house representative of the People Department, the Compensation and Benefits Analyst Specialist will work in tandem with our Total Rewards Manager to address the various needs and issues related to compensation and benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Compensation Analysis and Design:
- Conduct regular market research and analysis to ensure competitive compensation packages.
- Collaborate with People Dept. leadership to design and implement compensation structures, including base pay, variable pay, and incentive programs.
- Review job descriptions and evaluate roles to determine appropriate job classifications and salary bands.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for salary adjustments, promotions, and other compensation-related decisions.
Benefits Management:
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Stay updated with industry trends to propose enhancements and improvements to benefits offerings.
- Collaborate with benefits vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure accurate processing of benefits-related documentation.
- Act as a point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and issue resolution.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Gather, analyze, and interpret compensation and benefits data to generate insightful reports for People Dept. and management.
- Develop dashboards and metrics to monitor program effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by providing necessary data for government reporting and audits.
Compensation and Benefits Communication:
- Effectively communicate compensation and benefits programs to employees, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Assist in creating educational materials and resources to help employees make informed decisions about their benefits packages.
- Conduct workshops or training sessions to address employee questions and promote understanding of compensation and benefits programs.
Collaboration and Consultation:
- Collaborate with People Dept. Business Partners and department managers to provide guidance on compensation-related matters.
- Participate in cross-functional projects related to People Dept., finance, and business operations, offering expertise on compensation and benefits matters.
- Provide support during the annual performance review and salary planning processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum Work Experience and Skills
- 3 Years Proven experience as a Compensation & Benefits Analyst or in a similar role, with a solid understanding of compensation structures and benefits programs.
- Attention to Details and Accuracy
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and to take on new tasks with minimal supervision.
Ideal Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Ideal Work Experience and Skills
- 5 Years Proven experience as a Compensation & Benefits Analyst or in a similar role, with a solid understanding of compensation structures and benefits programs.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex compensation and benefits concepts to various audiences.
- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of relevant labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to compensation and benefits.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
