Community Trainer

We have multiple openings for a wonderful entry level position in a community based program serving adults with developmental disabilities.

We are currently hiring numerous "Community Trainer's" and are looking to hire ASAP.

1. About Us

Innovative Business Partnerships, Inc. (IBP) has been providing life skills training and socialization for the High Desert's developmentally disabled adult population for over 20 years.

We are a participant first organization, meaning we are geared towards the success and best interest(s) of each one of our clients. The individual client's ambitions, interests, and choices are considered of primary importance when developing individualized training plans that meet their needs.

By providing natural and in-house environments, more choices and options become available to meet more needs. The desire and goal of IBP is to provide a learning environment that can promote, "something for everybody."

2. About You

-6 months minimum of personal or professional experience taking care of/assisting/teaching those with developmental delays. (Experience must be verifiable.)

-CPR/First Aid certification.

-Ability to pass physical, background, and fingerprinting.

-An Associate's in Psychology/Human Services is preferred but not-required if personal/professional experience met.

3. About the Job

-Works approximately 27-30 hours per week (from 8:30am-3:00pm) great schedule for students with evening classes or parents needing to do school drop os/pick ups.

-Transport clients to and from programming (you are reimbursed for mileage at

65.6 cents per mile (IRS limit to be non-taxable income).

-Offer a variety of self-help and independent living skills and provide opportunities for clients to develop their creativity.

-Pay starts out at $16.50 per hour, plus the 67 cent mileage reimbursement.
