Weverse America Inc. is looking for an experienced Community Manager (English/Spanish Bilingual) who will be responsible for managing community communications within Weverse and other social channels for the LATAM market. The role will involve building and fostering a positive community environment, managing social content calendars, and collaborating with other teams to ensure a cohesive brand experience. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and a keen understanding of online communities and social media trends.
This role will directly report to the VP of Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Build new communities and monitor existing communities within Weverse and Reddit/Discord and represent a voice for the community by providing comprehensive reports
- Create engagement within the community through promotional and marketing means
- Write a copy that aligns with the voice/tone of a project
- Build and maintain social content calendars per project
- Post and schedule assets and engage in community management in Weverse channels on a daily basis
- Assist with any analytics and reporting needs
- Stay up to date on new social media trends and jokes, best practices, competitive activity, and other social media leaders to best leverage technology and trends
- Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency
- Bilingual in Spanish
- 2+ years of community management experience specifically in entertainment, music, gaming, or related field
- Prior experience and/or strong understanding in digital marketing preferred
- Discord, forums, and/or community tools experience
- Organized, detail-oriented, efficient in managing multiple competing deadlines and able to prioritize
