COMPENSATION RANGE: Base salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 plus bonus and full benefits.

THE COMPANY: Real Equity Management (REM) is a privately owned design-build and property management firm based in Columbia, Missouri. For more than 20 years, we have fulfilled community needs by building a diverse commercial and residential real estate portfolio across the Midwest. Over the years, our portfolio has grown to include hotels, restaurants, mixed-use and market-rate communities, in addition to commercial and retail spaces. We remain focused on our plans for growth and currently have several exciting projects under construction and in queue!
THE COMMUNITY MANAGER POSITION: Our Community Manager will oversee all on-site property operations for our market-rate luxury property, Aria! Your main goals will be training/coaching our Team to provide the best in class customer service, increasing resident retention and driving occupancy.
COMMUNITY MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide hands-on leadership through team building and mentorship, coaching your TEAM to surpass goals both professionally and personally.
- Interact and engage with residents, providing the highest level of customer service and positive attitude.
- Answer resident questions and resolve conflicts in a timely manner to ensure the highest possible customer satisfaction.
- Develop and deploy an effective marketing strategy, working directly with our marketing department, to individually tailor and fit the needs of the market/property.
- Walk and inspect property weekly with Maintenance Manager to maintain community appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed.
- Assist Leasing Team with leasing duties; including showing apartments as well as preparing and executing leases.
- Understand your market and your properties performance: continually monitor and analyze traffic logs, conversion rates, budget guidelines, renewal information, marketing data, marketing trends, University trends/changes.
- Complete various sales reports for our Corporate office.
- Ensure team members comply with corporate procedures and government laws on Fair Housing.
COMMUNITY MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:
- REQUIRED: Bachelors degree
- REQUIRED: 3+ years' experience managing, Class A or B, multi-family communities (those without property/hotel management experience will not be considered)
- REQUIRED: Successful track record with apartment leasing
- Must be an excellent communicator; be outgoing, bubbly and approachable.
- Knowledge and understanding of fair housing
