Job description

Come build The Disney of the 21st Century with us!

At Inkitt, we believe every author should have an equal opportunity to succeed. Our mission is to discover hidden talents and turn them into globally successful authors. Traditional publishing often leaves authors behind with human editors responsible for selecting books fit for publication. Inkitt is a pioneer at the forefront of data-driven publishing. By inventing an algorithm which analyzes users' reading behavior to identify hits, we have removed subjectivity from the traditional publishing equation. This gives Inkitt the unique ability to discover hidden talents that might otherwise have gone unnoticed

Are you a builder? We are looking for the change-makers of the world; the people who build the blueprint anytime they are unsatisfied with the status quo. Come build The Disney of the 21st Century with us by developing our books, audiobooks, creation of games, TV shows and movies!
What you'll do:
    • Community Engagement: Cultivate a welcoming and active online community by moderating discussions, responding to user comments, and encouraging interaction among members. Your goal is to create a space where readers feel safe, valued and engaged.
    • Content Creation and Management: Develop and execute a content strategy that includes writing blog posts, forum posts, newsletters, and social media content that resonates with our community's interests. You'll also curate and schedule multimedia content (videos, live Q&As, book reviews) that highlights trends, new releases, and community favorites.
    • Event Coordination: Organize virtual and potentially in-person events such as author interviews, book club meetings, and reading challenges to keep the community engaged and connected.
    • Analytics and Strategy: Monitor engagement metrics and community feedback to understand what excites and motivates our users. Use these insights to refine community strategies and initiatives, ensuring continuous growth and engagement.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with authors to bring exclusive content and opportunities to our community. You will also liaise with the product team to relay community feedback that can shape future app features and improvements.
