SUMMARY: The Community Engagement Coordinator will assist with the planning and coordination of the New England Revolution’s community-related programming. The coordinator will also oversee the club’s donation requests and compile annual community impact trackers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with planning and execution of all Community Engagement events
- Assist with planning and execution of Community Engagement programming at Revolution home matches
- Oversee the Revolution Drive Series from planning to execution
- Research and secure candidates for the Revolution Hero of the Match initiative
- Maintain relationships with current charitable partners
- Oversee the development and maintenance of content for Community Relations page on revolutionsoccer.net
- Compile Community Impact Reports on a monthly basis and maintain a Community Impact Tracker, containing all applicable donation information
- Oversee all charitable donation requests, ensuring that they are fulfilled in a timely, professional manner
- Manage Revolution Charitable Foundation social media accounts and provide consistent engagement
- Uphold both the organization's and the department's mission and core values in all programs
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 – 3 years of relevant experience
- Good communication skills
- Strong sense of customer service
- Good organizational skills, detail oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing skills
- Can interact successfully with groups from diverse backgrounds
- Creative thinker
- Ability to manage projects from start to finish
- Previous community relations and sports industry experience is preferred but not required
