```Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Outreach Coordinator to join our team. As an Outreach Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in promoting our organization's mission and services to the community. You will be responsible for coordinating outreach efforts, educating the public, and supervising outreach staff. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to raise awareness of our organization
- Conduct community presentations and workshops to educate the public on various health topics
- Collaborate with community partners to coordinate outreach events and initiatives
- Supervise and train outreach staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, social service agencies, and community organizations
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and social media campaigns
- Coordinate volunteer recruitment and management for outreach events
- Collect data and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts
- Assist in project management tasks as assigned
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in public health, social work, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in outreach or community engagement roles
- Strong knowledge of public health principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in supervising staff or volunteers
- Proficient in project management techniques and tools
- Knowledge of social media platforms and experience in managing social media accounts
- Familiarity with addiction counseling principles is a plus
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate others
