RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

  • Responsible for recruitment efforts in assigned counties.
  • Transition Newly hired Attendants/ Special Attendants/ CNA to Program Coordinator/Field Supervisor for placement of attendants with clients.
  • Work with other AHH departments to ensure accurate Attendant paperwork.
  • Proper and prompt communication with applicants/ new hires/ and team members.
  • Position will require traveling to assigned counties for recruitment and Attendant hire packets.
  • Responsible for oversight of all paperwork to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
  • Responsible for new hire packet orientation with Community Care Attendant new hires. Full explanation of Occupational Injury Plan.
  • Locate and participate in job fair and talent acquisition events.
  • Complete reports and projects in expected and timely manner.
  • Maintains compliance with all At Home Healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations, including all federal and state laws.
  • Makes copies of various documents as required.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
  • Attends all meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Answers phones, takes messages, and handles calls as appropriate.
  • Accurately prepares and proofreads letters, memos, emails and other correspondence.
  • Completes accurate and timely documentation.
  • Performs all other duties as requested by supervisor.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Requires a pleasant and cheerful demeanor, shows an attitude of helpfulness and cooperation, and the ability to encourage, mentor, and support fellow workers on a daily basis and while encountering stressful situations. Will be required to effectively and efficiently carry out the duties of this position.
  • Requires in-depth understanding of a comprehensive field of knowledge normally attained through high school education and some college. Position requires high school diploma or equivalent plus minimum two-years general human resources background. Applicable two year or four year college degree preferred.
  • Requires excellent time management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and accurately.
  • Requires ability to speak, read and write English.
  • Requires ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds continuously to move objects.
  • Work deals mostly with areas such as preparing and reading data and figures, records, reports, visual inspection involving small details. Although important, depth perception and field of vision (peripheral) are not as critical as the ability to distinguish small details and markings very near to the observer.
  • Requires ability to grasp, pull, push, carry or otherwise manipulate objects; ability to perform tasks requiring action of muscles or groups of muscles and foot and/or hand-eye coordination.
  • Requires ability to sit approximately 80% of time with occasional move from office to office or office sites. Standing/stooping/bending/climbing approximately 10% of time. Walking requirements approximately 10% of time.
  • Requires ability to communicate clearly and make self-understood effectively in face-to-face interactions; articulate with accuracy to communicate using phone.
  • Requires ability to hear and receive verbal instructions correctly, answer phones, communicate professionally with people in situations with some background noise.
  • Requires ability to concentrate on fine detail with frequent interruption; ability to focus attention on tasks for 10-20 minutes at a time on a continuous basis, 20-60 minutes on occasion.
  • Requires ability to understand and relate to specific ideas one at a time and to the concepts behind specific ideas; ability to remember verbal and written tasks/assignments from a few hours to several day periods.
  • Excellent computer software skills necessary to produce accurate documents and materials required. Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Access or similar software required. Proficient use of MS Office, Excel, and Excel preferred.
  • Sufficient good health to properly discharge duties required.
  • Requires ability to effectively interact with and coordinate service delivery both internally with staff, external constituents and the community at large.
  • Requires ability to effectively work under minimal supervision; exercise excellent professional judgment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Requires ability to effectively establish and maintain professional working relationships with staff, vendors, residents, families, representatives, etc.
  • Requires ability to effectively work under pressure and remain flexible as priorities change.
  • Commitment to ethical business practices both professionally and personally required.
  • Excellent data entry skills required.
