What We Do
The Communications Specialist is pivotal in shaping and executing internal communication strategies that reinforce the company's mission, strategy, and values. This role is central to developing a cohesive, engaged, and informed community within the company, and promoting a culture that aligns with our core principles.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain an engaging Intranet presence, featuring an ‘Idea Center’ for employee suggestions, open position announcements, and welcome messages for new team members, fostering a strong internal community and open communication.
- Facilitate structured interactions between employees and senior leadership, such as Coffee Chats and Round Table meetings, to ensure every team member is connected and heard, complemented by engaging remote and in-office activities to enhance team cohesion and culture.
- Design and implement recognition programs to celebrate employee achievements and milestones, including ‘Impact Player of the Week’ and awards that align with the company’s cultural values, leveraging the Intranet, LinkedIn, and targeted communications for broad recognition.
- Lead the company’s Employee Appreciation initiatives, developing a continuous platform for team member appreciation and celebration, and coordinating special events to acknowledge team contributions throughout the year.
- Define, articulate, and actively promote the company’s culture, focused on a people-first approach and service quality, ensuring alignment across all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with the Culture Club to address feedback from engagement surveys, driving initiatives to improve workplace satisfaction and engagement, and facilitating cultural alignment and evolution based on employee feedback.
- Oversee the strategic creation, editing, and distribution of content for both internal and external communications, ensuring clarity, engagement, and consistency across all platforms, including web, email, and social media.
- Provide strategic guidance on communication design and digital strategies, optimizing the impact of web and email communications, and ensuring that all messaging reinforces the company’s mission, values, and strategic objectives.
- Partner with internal trainer to promote growth and development opportunities.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4-7 years of experience in communications or marketing, or other equivalent experience involving written communication skills.
Pay Range: $51,400 – $89,500 annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
