What you'll do as Communications Manager:
- Manage internal segmented communication approaches and content based on business and audience needs.
- Evolve Musco's corporate communication strategy, including earned media, media relations, social media, and communications to support our communities and sponsorships as needed.
- Build and manage employer branding strategy to attract job seekers. Work with job and review sites like LinkedIn and Glassdoor, coordinate digital and SEO plans, create content, and develop and lead a team member brand ambassador program.
- Manage, support, and create content for various Team communications, including open enrollment, Team Survey, and others.
- Provide ongoing support to crisis communications and assist in the evaluation and implementation of tools and processes.
What you need to be successful:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a similar area required.
- 7+ years of related work experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- A demonstrated ability to independently create and implement communications strategies across a broad spectrum of company departments and areas.
- Excellent writing skills and content development experience for all platforms, strong business writing acumen, and a solid grasp of AP Style.
- Capacity to think big, execute tactics, and deliver results.
- Team-player approach with the ability to work independently and to navigate ambiguity.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to prioritize multiple projects, act with urgency, and to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Office 365, including Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience in developing metrics, measuring results, and implementing continuous improvement.
