About The Role
Essity Professional Hygiene North America is currently searching for an experienced Commercial Training Manager on the Sales Operations & Administration team. The Commercial Training Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating, facilitating, executing, and operationalizing flagship training programs, events, and activities for internal Essity employees in a BU (i.e., onboarding, product, segment, systems, launches, etc.) as well as external distributor partners (i.e., TORK Academy, Tena Net, etc.) in collaboration with the Commercial Training Director (BU), Leadership Team (BU), and Subject Matter Experts.
The focus will be on the five (5) regions in the Professional Hygiene Business Unit, therefore, this position can be located at any of Essity's corporate offices in the US, Europe, or Middle East. All US based corporate positions are in a hybrid work environment.
What Will You Do
- Partner with Commercial Training Director to identify and address training needs and opportunities in the BU by developing optimal learning programs and solutions that employ the appropriate instructional strategy, approach, technologies, etc.
- Manage document creation and revision efforts for flagship ILT programs, events, and activities in collaboration with specified Subject Matter Experts, Third-Party Providers, etc. in accordance with established governance guidelines (i.e., modules, videos, training presentations, guides, job aids, checklists, lesson plans, practice activities, answer keys, assessments, curriculums, etc.)
- Curate and govern online course catalog of self-paced training content for a BU delivered via shared sites and Learning Management Systems (i.e., internal - 'Learning Compass' via Cornerstone OnDemand) (i.e., external - 'TORK Academy' via Docebo); assist with site and systems configuration, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, assignments, reports, dashboards, etc.
- Create, update, coordinate, and communicate as needed regarding the annual Training Calendar of Events for a BU; complete all administrative tasks related to the execution of training programs and events including but not limited to planning, preparation, attendance tracking, and reporting.
- Assist with the facilitation of instructor-led training events and activities both in-person and virtually as needed including webinars, workshops, hands-on activities, role-plays, etc.
Who You Are
- A Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field required or equivalent industry experience.
- 2+ years of commercial sales and/or marketing experience required.
- Knowledge of adult learning, program design, and/or training facilitation ideal.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (i.e., Cornerstone, Docebo) a plus.
- Knowledge of distribution and B2B business operations preferred.
- Sense of urgency and work ethic
- Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Impeccable written and verbal communication - presentation and facilitation skills a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams and Office Suite; excellent platform and digital skills a must
