As the Commercial Strategy Intern, you will analyze and support the Commercial Strategy leadership team on analyzing performance trends related to sales, revenue and digital marketing KPIs. Your daily duties would include analyzing data and identifying new trends, following up on Commercial Strategy initiatives and helping implement new ones. You will work closely with the commercial leaders as well as the business intelligence team to gather data and improve visualizations on our data transformation. This role will also work on special projects for the Chief Commercial Officer and may attend some leadership calls as needed. You will collaborate closely with all departments to help hotels maximize their KPI’s.
WHAT YOU WILL DELIVER:
- Update, process, generate and distribute daily, weekly and monthly Commercial Strategy reports.
- Assist on creating PowerPoint presentations as needed
- Work on the Strategic Business Plan modifications and deployment to the field
- Develop new reports, as needed, to assist in preparation for the weekly Commercial Strategy leadership meetings or data analysis.
- Create new reports as needed in PowerBi.
- Assist in the collection and harmonization of data for Analytics.
- Assist in maintaining distribution lists and Commercial Strategy roster
- Assist SVP of Sales, Revenue & Digital Marketing on special projects
- Update and standardize our process and procedure documentation. Review new job descriptions and update as needed.
- Validate forecast data for 2024 and monitor forecast gaps as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of the 2025 budget process.
- Assist in various projects and tasks as assigned.

- Some knowledge of Revenue Strategy, Sales & Marketing & Digital Marketing
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Microsoft Office fluency to include Word, Excel, Power Point
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with tact, diplomacy, and discretion
- Compiles facts/figures, identify and investigate issues, and resolve matters in a timely fashion
- Ability to operate a computer, calculator, phone, and other office equipment
- Attention to details with strong organizational and efficient time management skills
