Job Description
REP is looking to add a foreman to our dynamic team of Commercial Solar installers. In this position you will be part of an installation crew that ensures the safe, high-quality, and timely installations of Commercial Solar systems. Foreman experience is required for this position. You will work in conjunction and collaborate with Electrical Foreman.
- Assemble and install racking system components
- 3-6 years solar carport experience from layout to completion
- 5+ years as an experienced installer
- Available Monday through Saturday - 8+ hours per day
- Take work related orders and execute as instructed by appointed supervisor.
- Maintain a professional appearance around all REP employees, clients, affiliates, and vendors.
- Personal equipment and tools required at all times: Work boots, fitted work jeans with no large holes, tool bag w/ strap, cordless tools & hand tools required to perform the job.
- Efficient in operating reach fork & scissor lifts, bobcat, mini excavator
- Run crew of 2-10 Solar Installers
- General understanding of common building materials, tools and techniques
- Complete understanding of solar technology and solar applications
- Recommended electrical experience but not required
- General understanding of the NEC Article 690
- OSHA 30 for Construction recommended
- Proficient with safety equipment, their standards and installation protocols
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work on your feet for long periods of time
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must have a valid state driver's license with satisfactory driving record

- Income is dependent upon experience
