Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Commercial Solar Apprentice to join our team and learn the skills necessary to become a successful solar installer. As a Commercial Solar Apprentice, you will be responsible for supporting the removal and/or installation and maintenance of Commercial Solar photovoltaic systems. You will work under the guidance of experienced installers and foremen to learn the necessary skills to safely and efficiently remove and/or install solar panels and equipment on commercial properties. You will also be responsible for assisting with the preparation and organization of materials, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside experienced solar installers to learn and master the removal and installation of Commercial Solar energy systems
- Assist in the preparation and organization of materials and equipment for installation projects
- Safely and efficiently remove and reinstall solar panels and other equipment on commercial properties
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on existing solar energy systems
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and construction principles
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols and regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Commercial Solar experience
- Knowledge of solar energy systems and components
- Completion of relevant coursework or training programs in solar installation
- OSHA 30 Certification
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
Physical Demands:
Job will require working in outdoor weather conditions, mainly on construction sites.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
