Description
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for the continuous follow up and reinforcement of the company safety program. Ideal candidate will conduct safety training to include equipment training, fall protection training, annual safety day training, OSHA 10/30 training, new hire safety training, etc. Must be comfortable teaching/training both large and small groups of people.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Coordinate on-going safety training and new hire safety training.
• Perform regular job site safety inspections including completing reports, photo documentation and any corrective action.
• Plan, coordinate and conduct monthly safety meetings in our North Dakota operations.
• Coordinate, purchase and distribution of PPE with Field Operation Manager and Service Managers
• Train, coach and mentor a safe and knowledgeable workforce.
• Perform investigations of property damage and employee accidents.
• Maintain all safety records and monthly reporting.
• Attend and participate in Pre-construction meetings (as required).
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Promote best safety practices for Commercial Roofing work.
• Continuous support of company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.
• Detailed oriented, good communication skills, strong organizational skills are required.
• Must be dependable, reliable and self-sufficient
• Ability to multitask on various tasks in a fast paced work environment.
• Must be able to work independently as well as with other management and staff.
• Availability to response to any emergency situation or employee injury.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel and conduct job site inspections and job site safety training.
• Must be proficient with computers, I-phones and other electronic devices.
• Prior experience in leading safety programs preferred.

Additional Job Information
Previous training experience is highly preferred.
Wage range is $55k - $70k per year.
Reports to Director of HR and Safety.
Travel 40 - 60%
Vehicle provided by company.
