Are you a hard worker who likes to get up early?! Then we have the job for you! We are looking for a mixer to mix the dough. It is a physical job that requires a lot of heavy lifting of at least 50lbs. It also requires an early start time of 4:30am. The great news.. we are a small family owned bakery that strives to put out the best product, we work hard and have a lot of fun. You will be a part of a team and only work 4 days a week with no weekends!
Responsibilities:
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and production specifications
- Operate mixing equipment to blend ingredients thoroughly and consistently
- Monitor mixing process to ensure proper texture, consistency, and quality of products
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Adhere to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards to ensure food safety
- Assist with other food preparation tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating ingredient quantities
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Understanding of HACCP principles for maintaining food safety standards
- Experience in food production or cooking is preferred
- Ability to handle and fabricate raw ingredients safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of proper sanitation practices in a food handling environment
