We are seeking Journeyman AND Apprentice level Plumbers for various projects in and around Austin, Texas.

Per Diem: NONE - MUST BE LOCAL
Schedule: 8-10 hour shifts

++++++++++++Commercial Journeyman or Apprentice Plumber++++++++++++
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Commercial plumbing installation from underground/rough-ins, stack out to trim outs on large scale commercial and industrial construction projects such as, healthcare, government, educational, manufacturing, data centers and others.
- Install hangers and supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation for water, gas, compressed air, Medical Gas, or other liquids.
- Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications required for each job site to accurately install systems.
- Installation of copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping.
- Duties could include setting grease traps, decontamination tanks, oil interceptors, lint interceptors, utility hookups, etc.
- Able to work from ladders and man lifts from various heights and operate the equipment as needed
- Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of commercial plumbing experience
- Valid / current TDLR plumbing license
- Medical Gas Certification, or ability to obtain, preferred
- Experience leading / coaching an apprentice and/or helper
- OSHA 10 hour preferred
- Able to work from ladders and man lifts from various heights and operate the equipment as needed

- Ability to pass MVR check
- Ability to pass a physical ability test
- Ability to travel, as needed, for projects
++++++++Medical Gas Plumber+++++++++++
Essential Duties:
- · Install and assemble gas pipes in medical facilities
- · Familiar with Medical Gas and vacuum systems.
- · Follow all laws, codes, rulings, and regulations to ensure the facility follows federal standards
- · Test existing systems that deliver oxygen, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen during surgery.
- · Ensure clean air throughout the facility, providing power to surgical equipment, and managing all pipe fitting procedures.
- · Utilize lockout/tagout and confined space guidelines, as well as all other safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Possess state issued plumbing license - Journeyman or Master with Med Gas endorsement
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Minimum of two years of experience in plumbing installation or mechanical systems
- Must have completed a specialty training course that equips you with the necessary skills to install ASSE Standard 1060 equipment and take a course in brazing
- Know protocols outlined in the National Fire Protection Association 99 manual
