Commercial Manager - Consumer Hearing Business - Sennheiser

Purpose of role:The Commercial Manager, USA will be responsible for the driving the commercial aspect of the consumer strategy within USA in conjunction with the Sales Director and the Finance Director while also providing commercial and analytical support to the Key Account Management Team. The role will elevate the commercial and analytical capability of the USA Key Account Team to confidently meet and/or exceed assigned annual sales targets for Sonova Consumer Hearing Business/Sennheiser.

Main Tasks and Responsibities:

  • Involvement in the S&OP cycle while introducing analytical and commercial excellence improvements to elevate the forecast accuracy throughout the P&L
  • Interface with head office in Germany, alongside the Sales Director and Finance Director, to articulate the P&L delivery and contribute to improvement
  • Collaborate and support the Key Account Team in driving commercial excellence and analytics to elevate the profitability of key accounts and support with required administrative tasks
  • Take responsibility of the S&OP cycle for USA and work closely with the Sales Director and Finance Director in identifying opportunities and areas of development to drive improvement across the Key Account Management Team
  • Ownership of the national promotional calendar, alongside the Sales Director, to optimize profitability while driving growth and scale
  • Responsible for industry data analysis and sharing quarterly to the USA Sales Team, CHB Leadership Team and externally with Key Accounts when required
  • Key contributor to annual sales target setting and P&L target setting based on S&OP cycle output
  • Support Key Account Management Team on key account administrative tasks required and key account specific analytics to drive commercial excellence
  • Participate in regional and global meetings as required

 

Education and Skillset:

  • 3-5 years' experience and proven success in financial/commercial analytics in either the Consumer Electronics, Consumer Packaged Goods industries or within the Finance Department of any Consumer Goods industry
  • Degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
  • Solid understanding of a P&L
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
  • 3-5 years' experience and proven success in financial/commercial analytics in either the Consumer Electronics, Consumer Packaged Goods industries or within the Finance Department of any Consumer Goods industry
  • Degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
  • Solid understanding of a P&L
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
  • Availability and willingness to take up a moderate degree of travel both domestically and internationally

 

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
