Job Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition:
- Proactively source, identify, and attract qualified candidates for various landscape positions, including crew members and labor.
- Utilize online job boards, industry forums, social media, and other channels to build a robust candidate pipeline.
- Interviewing and Evaluation:
- Conduct comprehensive interviews with candidates to assess their experience, skills, and alignment with the company's values.
- Evaluate candidates' knowledge of landscape techniques, plant identification, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
- Work closely with hiring managers and project leaders to understand their staffing needs and preferences.
- Provide guidance on market trends, salary benchmarks, and other relevant insights to support effective decision-making.
- Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Communicate transparently with candidates regarding the company culture, job expectations, and growth opportunities.
- Networking and Industry Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, associations, and educational institutions to enhance the company's visibility within the landscaping community.
- Attend industry events, job fairs, and other networking opportunities to connect with potential candidates.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess and refine the recruitment process for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement innovative strategies to attract top talent and stay ahead of industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a recruiter, with a focus on landscaping or related industries.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey the company's values and opportunities to candidates.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to meeting recruitment targets.
