Commercial Insurance Client Service Manager (Specialty)

Position Overview: 

The Client Service Manager (CSM) will provide support to the Environmental Operational Risk Advisor(s) and the Environmental Transactional Risk Advisor(s).  Support includes, but is not limited to, management of renewals, assistance with placement of new business, servicing of existing accounts, and when applicable interfacing with the producing service teams.    

In This Role You Will Execute On:

• Produce accurate and thorough submissions, proposals that include summaries of coverage, and renewal strategy documents for either the Risk Advisors or the producing service team using Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
• Understand and utilize Hylant’s EPIC operating system to include coding and activity driven actions.
• Manage the renewal solicitation process to the producing service teams to include tracking engagement level selection, audit of current EPIC coding, and verification that Risk Advisor has been assigned.
• Effectively communicate with underwriters on a variety of service items such as soliciting risk appetite, asking coverage clarifying questions, requesting policy changes, following up on outstanding items such as quotes, binders and policies.
• Proof binders and policies for accuracy.
• Provide prompt, accurate and thoughtful service to both external clients and internal service team members.    
• Cultivate a marketing presence on the Hylant Intranet.
• Strong working knowledge of carrier partner’s Underground and Aboveground storage tank online quotation programs.  Ability to navigate these systems and advise others within the organization on how to access directly.
• Continue ongoing pursuit of Pollution Liability knowledge by working with your manager to development a professional growth plan.    
• Perform other duties and special projects as requested.

In This Role You Will Need: 

• Environmental Educational Background
• Prior insurance experience is preferred, but not required
• Experience with MS Office products required (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
• Highly motivated to learn
• Analytical thinker
• Willingness to present various materials either internally and/or externally
• Strong verbal and written communication skills  
• Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills yielding effective results
• Team player and enjoys working with people and forming new relationships
• Ability and willingness to travel by car or airplane for meetings, conferences, or other business-related functions
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
