Lipscomb & Pitts Insurance, a Higginbotham Partner, has an immediate opening for a Commercial Lines Investment Team DataService Manager in our Memphis, TN office.
The Commercial Lines Investment Team DataService Manager will provide exemplary support to assigned Team and Clients by processing prospect and client requests in a fast, professional, accurate and efficient manner.
Essential Tasks:
- Participate in internal and external training opportunities
- Attend all mandatory Commercial Lines meetings and seminars
- Learn all pertinent Commercial Lines Workflow Procedures and Policies, and remain up-to-date with procedural changes and new technology when introduced
Supporting Functions:
- Process email and phone requests from prospects and clients.
- Respond to all requests as soon as possible, and by the next business day at the latest.
- Communicate in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Thoroughly document all work performed, per procedures outlined.
- Notify Account Manager or other team members regarding any potential problems or issues.
- Request information from prospect or clients that is needed to secure an accurate insurance quote for prospects and clients.
- Request quotes for insurance from insurance carriers, upon request.
- Bind coverage for insurance, as requested.
- Request endorsements (corrections) from the insurance carriers via the agency management system, when needed, following up to ensure requested changes are made by carriers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Delivery insurance policies to clients in a timely manner, documenting the method and date of delivery.
- Maintain thorough and clear communications with clients throughout the process.
- Issue certificates of insurance and proofs of insurance as a priority.
- Assist Account Managers and Producers in marketing renewals by performing any tasks needed to help in the process.
- Perform any specific duties assigned by the Account Manager or Producer to assist in the overall client service experience.
- Utilize agency management and document management system as specified in agency procedures.
- Perform as an effective team player with a positive attitude, assisting the team in any way possible to accomplish the goal of achieving maximum client satisfaction.
- Perform special requests and projects at management’s request.
- Assist training others at management’s request.
- Follow all systems and procedures set up by agency.
- Maintain a predictable and reliable work schedule.
- Maintain current, sound documentation of all pertinent business-related activities and communications regarding clients’ account while following agency procedures and guidelines for the same, to ensure protection and security of sensitive client data and to document reasons for all changes and actions taken that impact the clients’ account.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Property and Casualty License required (may be obtained after hire date)
