I am partnered with a distinguished Texas law firm with over two decades of experience that is renowned for its expertise in various practice areas that is need of a Commercial Attorney. With a longstanding reputation for excellence, this firm handles a diverse range of cases, providing comprehensive legal solutions to clients across the nation.
Currently, I am seeking a skilled Commercial Attorney with 5 years of experience to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on business litigation, handling cases from inception to resolution, whether through mediation or trial. Our firm represents clients in both plaintiff and defense litigation, from small to mid-size and publicly traded corporations, retail organizations and nationwide healthcare corporations.
Responsibilities of the Commercial Attorney:
- Drafting pleadings
- Preparing discovery, briefing, and research
- Making court appearances for hearings and trials
- Participating in administrative hearings
- Attending depositions
- Conducting administrative hearings
- Conducting mediations
Required Experience of the Commercial Attorney:
- Leading evidentiary hearings
- Experience leading Temporary Injunction and Temporary Restraining Order hearings
- Proven track record of success in complex commercial litigation
- At least 5 years of trial experience
- Leading depositions of both fact and expert witnesses
- Leading mediations
- Practicing in both State and Federal courts
MUST HAVE's for the Commercial Attorney:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the State Bar of Texas
- Strong interpersonal skills and maturity
- Ability to handle a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
