As a Commercial Account Executive at Kanarys, you’ll be a foundational team member and instrumental player in our growth as we accelerate our efforts to partner with midsize companies across Retail, Financial Services, Hospitality & Tourism, Tech, Legal, and others. We will entrust you to evangelize Kanarys, run your business like a CEO, and consistently exceed quarterly and annual targets. This is a rare opportunity to drive meaningful transformation at scale while pursuing a multi-billion dollar market opportunity.

What You’ll Do:

  • Bring new customers onto the Kanarys platform by managing a full sales cycle using a consultative, relationship-driven approach
  • Self-source deals in conjunction with DemandGen efforts to meet quarterly targets
  • Conduct customized powerful product demos that show solutions to prospect’s pain points and tie to business outcomes
  • Keep the CRM (Salesforce) up-to-date
  • Forecast likelihood to close and other metrics to help predict new business
  • Be an ambassador of Kanarys, someone who reflects our commitment to driving systemic change around DEIB
  • Act as an expert with prospects who may not be familiar with Kanarys
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales to build GTM strategy, materials, and processes

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of B2B software sales experience closing medium to large-sized contracts in a quota-carrying capacity.
  • A passion for solving DEIB challenges. Strong DEIB acumen is a plus.
  • Intrinsic drive to be successful, love to win – You’ll take initiative to figure it out, and be motivated to do your absolute best work.
  • Clear, succinct communicator – Using your customer’s language, you’ll help them clearly understand the value Kanarys delivers.
  • Innately curious – You’ll know your buyer, their business, and what Kanarys and DEIB excellence means to their success.
  • Empathetic listener – You’ll listen more than you talk. And, you really get what they mean.
  • Collaborate and win as a team – You’ll compete, but above that, you’ll collaborate, you’ll share what is working, you’ll help the team win, and you’ll take on projects outside of closing deals.
