We are looking to hire a Business Development Representative to join our Coloro Sales team in New York or LA.
Salary range - $40,000 - $52,000

Role overview
You will be a dynamic, motivated and strategic Business Development Representative who will be focused on building our sales pipeline within the North American market.
You will not be phased by prospecting new clients and cold calling using your expertise to help clients understand the value Coloro brings to their business. Prospecting new clients is key at this stage of the process and you can achieve this by ensuring thorough research is completed in advance. Color is a critical part of all design businesses; you must understand the importance of color and the potential value it brings to a brand. It's complex to switch from one color provider to another. However, we have a great fan base and we are building a reputation for being the best in the industry. Once they start transitioning, Coloro clients generally love the quality of our products and our high level of service. Coloro targets key fashion brands in: active, outdoor, swimwear, lingerie, footwear, mens, womens and kids categories - but also has applications across all materials and all industries. From metal water bottles to beauty, interiors, auto and consumer electronics - you will work across industries, focusing on becoming the right partner at the right time. The team
We have a "small but mighty" team (UK & US based). We support each other, work towards common goals and celebrate successes together. We are at a stage of growth where we are ready to have more people join our team.
Key accountabilities
  • Effectively managing an inbound lead queue; following up on marketing-driven leads
  • Researching and identifying potential clients for Coloro; developing and executing strategies for outbound prospecting via email, cold calling, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and any other means relevant
  • Speaking with provided and self-sourced prospects to discuss potential needs and how Coloro would be beneficial to them
  • Utilizing good discovery tactics and questions in a consultative style
  • Qualify inbound leads for the sales team so they can identify how Coloro can address the pain points in the customer's business
  • Ensuring that once meetings are booked, relevant research and information is translated to the
  • Business Development Manager so that they are set up for success in their meetings
  • Meet weekly and monthly qualified call, meeting and opportunity goals to ensure company revenue objectives are met
  • Learn and maintain extensive knowledge of market/industry trends, developments, Coloro customers, competitors, and products; building expertise towards being able to tell the Coloro story while pitching Coloro value
  • Working closely with the Marketing team on lead generation and new business activities, including but not limited to events, email campaigns, social media

Skills, experience & qualifications required
  • You must love "Color" and the impact it brings to our daily lives.
  • Prior experience in a sales role of a similar capacity
  • Motivated self-driven, confident, and professional in approach with a positive 'can-do' attitude
  • A flair for strong relationship building on the telephone at all levels
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
  • Previous B2B sales experience (preferably telephone sales) is desirable
  • Use of sales enablement tools such as Salesloft and Zoominfo to build cadences and generate meetings
  • Knowledge of our core industries such as Fashion, Beauty, Consumer Tech & CPG is a bonus
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
